Graduation Day

  • Students should gather wearing masks at the Gates parking lot at 4 p.m. on Friday.
  • Please park behind the high school.
  • Please see chart attached to line up alphabetically by row.
  • Parents do not attend graduation rehearsal.
  • Graduates must attend rehearsal to be part of the ceremony on Saturday.
  • Seniors will receive their cumulative files at rehearsal.

Graduation Day:

  • Parents- should proceed to your graduate’s seat on the field.You should park behind the high school and arrive by 9:45 a.m.
  • Graduates- please arrive at the Gates parking lot to your assigned socially distanced space with cap and gown no later than 9:30 a.m.; if driving separately from parents, you should also park behind the high school.There is no parking in the Gates lot.


About the Graduation

  • Scituate Community Television will be livestreaming the graduation on their Facebook page and on their You Tube channel.
  • LifeTouch photography will be taking photos of each graduate as they exit the stage with their diplomas and throughout the ceremony.
  • Per Scituate Board of Health approval of our plan, the ceremony will only accommodate two guests on the field per graduate.Please have all other friends and family view the livestream from off campus.We cannot allow for extra people and cannot allow for extra guests.
  • Water be provided at each seat.
  • No students or guests should wear a spiked/high heel because of the turf.Please wear flat-bottomed shoes, such as flip flops, flat sandals, wedges, loafers, or platform shoes.
  • If a graduate or family member is not feeling well on the morning of graduation, please do not attend the ceremony.It is essential that the health and wellbeing of all attendees is our main priority.

Student Records:

Scituate High School will be releasing graduating student’s temporary file at the end of the school year.  If not picked up, these temporary files will be destroyed after one year.   For more information on student records please view the MA Department of Elementary and Secondary Education information:
