Library Services

Ms. Lydon is happy to help any faculty member or student with research remotely (see contact info below).  She can help locate academic articles in databases.  She can also create a screencast of a PowerPoint presentation on a library research topic such as website evaluation and database searching upon request.

During this time, it helpful to know that public libraries have many resources that can be accessed remotely.

Here's a link to a page from the Scituate Town Library that lists information about the virus and online resources such as ebooks, audiobooks, digital magazines, and a movie streaming service.
Here's a link to the online resources at the Boston Public Library:

You need an ecard to access the BPL's online resources - get an ecard in 5 minutes here: https://www.surveygizmo.com/s3/4197886/eCard-Registration)
The BPL has resources that are similar to those of the Scituate Town Library.  You can take online classes through the BPL's website.
